Product Delivery Mechanisms
The mechanism for product delivery once the consumer has received their PIN number varies according to the product or service type:
Web Content
The consumer enters their PIN number on a web form. After authentication by our system, they will be directed to the site or pages with the premium content they have purchased. The pages can be viewed with a time limit determined by the product code, which has been set in the online administration.
Mobile Content
Delivery of mobile content, including text messages, binary SMS (ringtones, logos), WAP bookmarks and MMS content can be provided directly from the PIN number. By using the web access system for web content above, you can alternatively integrate with your own or third party gateways.
Web Download
Where you wish to initiate download of web content or software from a web site to the consumer, the PIN number can be delivered to your servers by Email or HTTP allowing you to enable the download.
Pay for Product
Information such as the postcode, numerical house information and phone number can be collected during the billing process. Where additional information is required to despatch a product, the consumer can complete a form on a web site once in possession of their PIN number. All the order information can then be delivered to you by email for order fulfilment.
Pay for Ticket
The consumer's proof of purchase is their PIN number. Valid PIN codes for tickets will be supplied by email, or via HTTP to your entry systems. Where purchase is made on a web site, tickets can be self-printed for presentation by the customer.
